A brain stroke, also known as a stroke or cerebrovascular accident (CVA), can cause a range of symptoms, often appearing suddenly. These symptoms can include weakness or numbness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body, trouble speaking or understanding speech, vision problems, difficulty with balance and coordination, and a sudden, severe headache.
